Pension is uniquely positioned in the Podyjí National Park.
The National Park has a fairly tale quality with
dense forests and, since it lies within the former border zone, it has been protected from
industrial development and the exploitation of tourism.
The area surrounding Pension offers an excellent environment for outdoor activities,
including walking and hiking, cycling, swimming and fishing. Trout,
sheatfish, pike and
carp populate the local rivers and fishermen will delight in an excellent trout run, which
is only a 2 minutes walk from the Pension, on the river Dyje below Castle Vranov.
When it's time for less energetic activities, the area boasts many historic monuments and
and buildings, including Bítov, Cornštejn and Nový Hrádek castles. Further
afield, but
within easy cycling distance, is the Austrian mediaeval castle at Hardegg.
   
Pension offers double bedrooms, to which an
additional bed can be added for family parties. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and
a lobby area. Full capacity is 50 beds.
Our dining-room is located in the basement
of the pension and serves also as a club room, which can be used for business meetings,
short courses or celebrations.
In addition, guests can enjoy a glass of delicious Moravian
wine in the peaceful surroundings of our bar.
